        The Smith Family’s history

                                          The beginning

On Christmas eve 1922, five businessmen
                                          walked into a Sydney orphanage
with gi‰s. They walked out inspired
to improve the lives of children
                                          experiencing disadvantage. Preferring
to remain anonymous, the men called
                                          themselves as “The Smiths.”

                                                                                   Learning for Life
