The Smith Family’s history

The beginning

On Christmas eve 1922, five businessmen
walked into a Sydney orphanage
with gi‰s. They walked out inspired
to improve the lives of children
experiencing disadvantage. Preferring
to remain anonymous, the men called
themselves as “The Smiths.”

Learning for Life

VIEW and The Smith Family In 1997, EDU-CATE became a full
sponsorship model and was renamed
