BENDIGO LIVESTOCK EXCHANGE

The Bendigo Livestock Exchange (BLE) offers producers one of the most competitive sheep and lamb markets in
the country at its premier selling facilities in central Victoria.
With sales regularly in excess of one million head per year, the Monday Prime Lamb Sale is best positioned for
sellers to cash in on positive market indications from northern markets the prior week. BLE is the saleyard of choice
with stock regularly supplied from north-central New South Wales, Tasmania and everywhere in between. It also
supplies abattoirs in Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia weekly.
Historically, Bendigo has always conducted its prime lamb sales on a Monday morning since the saleyards began
in 1861. It presents the largest Blue Ribbon 1st Cross Sale in the country held annually in November, which sets
national price records. BLE is a fully accredited sheep complex under the National Saleyard Quality Assurance
Program and is MLA licensed.
SALE DATES
Delivery is from 2pm on Sunday – but bookings must be made with a selling agent.
Weekly Lamb and Sheep sales are conducted on Mondays. Please refer to the website for accurate sale start times:
