              Riding on the back of the success of shade sails installed last year in the sheep yards, the   Cattle Sales: Every Monday

              By the time the town of Wagga Wagga was incorporated in 1870, with Forsyth elected the

              fi rst mayor, there were numerous stock and station agencies. Sales were usually conducted

              in hotel yards, the most popular behind the Pastoral Hotel in Fitzmaurice Street.
