Owned and operated by the District Council of Grant, the Mt Gambier and SALE DAY:
District Sale yards are located 10kms East from Mt Gambier city centre on the
Princess Highway, Glenburnie in South Australia. The Sale yards are one of Cattle Sales:
the largest livestocks exchange in the Limestone Coast region and has been Weekly Prime market sales:
in operation since June 1977. In the 2021/2022 financial year 65,000 head of Wednesdays
cattle and 88,000 head of sheep were sold through the yards. The Saleyards are Store sale second Friday of
the month
both European Union (EU) and National Sale yards Quality Assurance (NSQA)
